The new 2001 Trans Am, by Pontiac, has brought the true muscle car back to life. The Muscle Car Lives is Pontiac's newest claim.
The Trans Am comes with optional "WS6" Performance and Handling Package. It includes:

17" Wheels
It comes standard with a 5.7 Liter SFI V8 Engine, that produces 310 horsepower at 5,200 RPMs. The engine produces 340 ft-lbs of torque at 4,000 RPMs. The transmission is a 4-speed automatic. A 6-speed Manual is available.
They cost about 21,000 with the WS6 package... groan.
