A preternaturally deep voice, or PDV, is a voice which is so deep that it makes the floor vibrate, and people envy you. It is just deep.
The bass singer in Rockapella has a PDV. His voice is just amazingly deep.
Curiously, females don't have PDV's. Somehow, I don't think they want one, either.
