Pyrrolidine is a ring structure compound with chemical formula C4H9N and molecular mass 71.1. It is a pungent, colourless or slightly yellow liquid, and is produced by the reduction of pyrrole. It is used in the production of pharmaceuticals, pesticides, plasticizers, photographic chemicals, and is also used as a catalyst for producing polyurethanes.
