Nostradamus wrote 1,000 quatrains (100 quatrains * 10 centuries ). Each quatrain is a four line poem predicting the future.

A stanza unit of four lines. In English poetry, the quatrain is the most common form of stanza. When rhymed, stanzas tend to fall into categories:
