... Wonderland came back with her?
Jax Epoch is a normal 16 year old girl... Except that, in this
modern world, she still believes in magic. Tagging along with
her boyfriend and his group of troublemakers into an abandoned
office building, she chases a white rabbit let loose from a
cage... and falls through a dimensional hole into another world.
She "borrows" an book of magic, a pair of gloves, and a pair of
really weird looking boots. When she returns a short while later,
she finds that a week has passed on Earth, during which time her
evil twin has been giving her a bad reputation and trashing her
room. Donning the magic gloves and boots, she defeats her
Doppelgänger, but rather than things returning to normal, a
dragon appears over the city the next day. And after that,
things just keep getting weirder...
I can't figure how to summarize this comic series further
without including lots of spoilers, but I'd definitely recommend
it to anyone who likes the offbeat and unpredictable. Written by
Dave Roman, drawn by John Green, and published by Cryptic
Press.
