About a month ago when Qt went GPL, RMS stated that KDE people have been "forgiven" for illegal linking of FSF code to proprietary Qt libraries.

Many laughed at him for this, and it was the subject of many posts moderated as "funny" on Slashdot. Okay, so, maybe RMS shouldn't have used the word "forgive", but it was legally necessary, because the GPL states that if you break it (and anyone who distributed KDE binaries did), you can no longer distribute that code.

So repent, because RMS knows of your sins and is willing to forgive you if you accept him as your lord and savior.

(btw, I talked to the pope about making KDE usage a deadly sin, and he said he'll look into it...)
