The main character in the anime series Ranma 1/2, Ranma fell into a cursed pool in China, and whenever he touches cold water his body turns into the girl who died in the pool. Poor Ranma has about four people or so who he is supposed to marry based on some promise or another, and even more who like him. His real fiance is Akane Tendou, however, and was arranged by their fathers... They both like each other, but would never admit it.
