Rob Becker is a legal analyst who works for Fox Sports in the US and is a weekly guest on Prime Time Sports on the Fan 590 in Toronto.
Originally an attorney from New York, Becker became a legal analyst for Fox Sports in 2001 and has contributed to a variety of sports media (other than his current employer) in the ensuing years. This includes work with The Sporting News, The Hockey News, Rogers Sportsnet and the aforementioned Fan 590.
He frequently takes more objective positions that align with the legal aspects of a sports law case. During the Michael Vick trial and sentencing, he dismissed the racial aspects that had been the focus of many in the media to focus on the legality of the case itself.
