1979 New World Pictures release, directed by Allan Arkush, written by Allan Arkush and Joe Dante, and starring P.J. Soles, Mary Woronov, Vincent Van Patten, and Clint Howard, plus The Ramones as themselves. Chronicles the battle of wills between hip high school girl and number one Ramones fan Riff Randell and the evil Principal Togar of Vince Lombardi High School. Great dumb fun, and awesome concert footage of the Ramones.

The title comes from a Ramones song off their album End of the Century.

Song 10 on the Ramones' 1980 album End of the Century and featured in the 1979 Roger Corman executive-produced, Allan Arkush directed film of the same name. In the movie, the song was written as a gift to the band by superfan Riff Randell (P.J. Soles).

Additional movie trivia:

  • the band only received $5000 for its part in the $300,000 film (which Corman felt was too expensive)
  • a "rock" movie was not what Corman had in mind, one of his ideas being along the lines of 'Disco High,' because that music was popular at the time
  • the concert scenes at the end were filmed in one day taking close to 18 hours
