web-based e-mail service which was bought out by
Yahoo! and is now a part of
Yahoo! Mail.
Yahoo! has very little, if any at all, support for
rocketmail users. Often, when one tries to use their
rocketmail address when filling out an
on-line form, their address is seen as an
invalid one. They are then unable to set up an
account. ...Yeat another reason why
Yahoo! Mail is terrible!
Update (September 2003)
I still have my rocketmail account through
Yahoo! Mail. It is actually my primary e-mail address now. I no longer have any problems with Yahoo! and am quite pleased with the service. Their
spam filters work especially well compared to
Hotmail.
