Russ Manning (1929-1981), comic book and comic strip artist. His first major creation was Brothers of the Spear, a backup feature in the Dell Tarzan comic book for many years, originally drawn by Jessie Marsh and written by Gaylord Dubois. His greatest work is on the Tarzan and Star Wars comic strips.
