It's practically a
cliche that there's a lot of excellent food to be found in and around
San Francisco.
Chinese and
Japanese cuisines flourish here, along with many other nations' native styles and American twists thereon;
Californian cuisine grew up here, and so on. A number of world-class
chefs work in the region, and conversely, cheap
ethnic food sustains the large populations of
students and
starving artists.
I'll work hard to keep this node updated! Most recent update:

chains unless they are unusual or regional.
