Saturn Girl was one of the three
founding members of the
Legion of Super-heroes, along with
Lightning Lad and
Cosmic Boy.
Imra Ardeen is Saturn Girl's real name. She is from Titan, one of Saturn's moons, where the entire race of people there have developed telepathy. This allows here to read minds, communicate via thought, and control others.
Saturn Girl married Lightning Lad and became the mother of twins. One twin was stolen at birth by the villain Darkseid and transported into the past, where he was transformed into the monster Validus. Validus fought the Legion on numerous occasions
but was eventually returned to his parents as an infant.
