Science fantasy is a cross-over sub-genre between SF and fantasy. Science fantasy usually involves either applying SF's Scientific Perspective to fantasy subject matter or applying fantasy's sense of awe and wonder to SF subject matter,&but it may involve applying Scientific Perspective to imaginary science or to magic in the Modern Real World. Examples of science fantasy include the works of Arthur Conan Doyle and Edgar Rice Burroughs or the sub-genre steam punk.
