A book by Elizabeth Johnson, a
theologian and member of the Sisters of St. Joseph (in other words, a
nun). It explores
feminine concepts of God within the framework of the
Roman Catholic tradition.
It's a way cool book because she relates feminist theology to classical theology. So she'll say "Jesus' maleness does not tell us anything about the nature of God" and then quote the 5th-century Council of Ephesus to back herself up. Then, she applies the ideas in the first part of the book to develop with reasonably good answers to a lot of the questions that bug everyone who is thinking about God. Much of the later part of her book is an application of feminine God-images to theodicy and creation, with useful results.
