Shredded Wheat is a breakfast cereal, made by Nestle. The advert says it's made from 100% whole wheat, with no added sugar or salt. This means, of course, that it is a very dry, tasteless food and is best eaten covered in sugar.
Shredded Wheat is also available in bite size and honey nut versions. The latter almost elevates shredded wheat to the the status of proper cereal.
The fact that whole wheat is the only ingredient in Shredded Wheat presents an interesting oxymoron since something cannot be simultaneously shredded and 100% whole.
