SIERADZ is a very beautiful and small city situated in Poland.
Sieradz is located inside the Łódź Voivodeship (Województwo Łódzkie, that means almost the same as the county of Lodz City or state in Poland with the main centre in Lodz City).
Sieradz belongs to the oldest Polish cities. The city was mentioned for the first time in an 1136 document of Pope Innocent II.
Sieradz is situated at the riverside of Warta River (Warta is a river in central Poland, a tributary of much bigger Odra River).
Today Sieradz has almost 44 thousands of inhabitants.
The city has a very good location, from here You can easily get to the other main cities in Poland, like for example:
1) Lodz City (distance about 69 kilometers north - east),
2) Wrocław (south - western),
3) Poznań (north - western),
4) Katowice (southern direction) as well.
