Ok, it appears that about every
continent does have at least one "Silicon" area. The names are derived from the original
walhalla of computer
geeks: Silicon Valley. Those areas are characterized to have a higher density of technical and
IT related companies (and maybe want to be like "the real place to be" ... Silicon Valley???)
