Worthy of note here is their 1982 album
New Gold Dream (81 82 83 84). Recorded two years before
Sparkle in the Rain, this album was their best-seller up to that point in time. It was also their most '
commercial', but this isn't really saying much when you listen to their earlier work.'Sensitive' tracks such as '
Big Sleep' and '
Someone Somewher in Summertime' really helped with the
birds when I was a
student trying to
establish a mutually accpetable context for a relationship to progress in.
Sister Feelings Call is the best example of their earlier work, (produced by Steve Hillage - really cool bloke!)
