Theory adopted by the Warren Commision while investigating the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. Holds that the second shot Lee Harvey Oswald fired hit JFK in the back of the neck and emerged from the bottom of his throat. The bullet then hit Texas Governor John Connally in the back, fractured his rib, emerged below his right nipple, passed through his right wrist, and embedded itself in his right thigh.

Opponents of this theory derisively refer to the projectile as the "magic bullet".
