A documentary film by Paul Devlin which has created a minor rumbling controversy in the Slam Family over whether the New York team violated the rules about authorship and group piece placement.
This film focused on the 1996 National Poetry Slam, closely following the teams from New York, Providence and Vancouver. Of course, Saul Williams was the star. Saul Williams has since left the Slam Family to pursue all the goodies he got out of being a champ and being in Slam.
