Argument: Ceber, a hawkwasp in the Kuroni's company slays many of the opposing ants. Ceber is the adopted daughter of Tanis, a wasp renowned for being half dragon, a result of her mother's rape by the Dragon god Terite.

Ceber daughter of the Kuroni
Slew Apse of the bent sting.
Ceber flashing-eye. Forked-Antennae Ceber.
Ceber carapace-breaker came into that stew.
The invincible Andalay
And Lady Calife fell by Ceber’s jaws.
That poison ended Fayla
And proud Pernis.
Not an ant in Shnon’s company
Could brave Ceber’s bravado.
Ceber herself learned combat
From gray Tanis elf-murderer.
Tanis descended from Terite.
The dragon-god saw pretty Melè
Golden Melè most beautiful daughter
Of the People.
He took her Poor little Melè
And she conceived a fighting daughter.
Tanis, dragon-half! Warrior princess!
Tanis begat no child, no wasplet.
Lonely were her shortening days.
So,
She took orphaned honest Ceber
Trained her heart in hard war.
Tanis was the greatest
Now Ceber proves her method
Wrecking the weak despoiling the strong.
Ceber seemed ought unto the god himself.
Brave war-girl, Terite’s own adopted daughter.
Two hundred score came to Valayis that day.
Ceber surely claimed half!
