Starpath was a third party producer of Atari 2600 games. They are one of the bright spots in the history of the Atari 2600. They originally named themselves Arcadia Corporation, but they changed their name to Starpath for copyright reasons. The Starpath Supercharger (their first product) came out in 1982 at a price of $44.95. All Starpath games came on cassette and required a Starpath Supercharger to play them. Their games are some of the best games ever for the Atari 2600. Starpath was later bought by Epyx and then they disappeared. Currently Bridgestone Multimedia owns the rights to Starpaths products.
