Formed 1974, in Birmingham. One of the cream of the crop of 70s/80s homegrown British reggae bands, alongside the likes of Aswad and Matumbi. Politicized via Rastafarianism, US 60s "black power", and looking out of the window, they&helped inspire the "punky reggae party" that Bob Marley celebrated, playing gigs alongside punk bands, and lending their support to Rock Against Racism. They continued well into the 90s.
