Stefan Lessard

Stefan Lessard plays the bass guitar for the Dave Matthews Band. He is one of the most skilled bassists I have seen/heard in a long time. Every once and a while you can catch him playing with Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds on their acoustic tour. He plays a Warwick Thumb Bass Neck-Through 6-string: a tool of God himself.

The youngest member of DMB, joined the band when he was 16 years old. That puts him at around 25 or 26 these days. His instrument of choice back then was the upright bass (with which he was damn good at), but switched to the electric for the band. Not the greatest of the bass players of history, but can hang with whoever that is without feeling insignificant.
