Steven Levy; In addition to tech writing for The New York Times magazine, Macworld, and Newsweek, he has been at Wired since its inception. He has written 'Hackers', 'Insanely Great', 'Artificial Life', and 'The Unicorn's Secret'. Most recently, he wrote 'Crypto', a comprehensive history of modern cryptography. He lives in New York City, and has a wife and son. His first article for Wired details the cypherpunk phenomenon.
