Stories of Your Life and Others is the title of a collection of short stories by Ted Chiang. It includes the short story "Story of Your Life", which was the basis for the movie Arrival (2016). In fact, the entire collection was republished under the name Arrival.
Several stories concern re-imaginings of stories from Jewish scripture and folklore, while several others are about the consequences of artificially enhanced intelligence. Chiang is a science fiction writer in the purest sense - the stories explore consequences of what if the world was different in this one way, but he does not require those changes to be technically plausible - which makes him a sort of more fanciful version of Greg Egan, or maybe a more serious Rudy Rucker.
