A large city (~550,000 inhabitants) and capital of Baden-Württemberg in southwestern Germany. Known for its automobile and high-tech industry, as well as some damn fine Swabian food ("die schwäbische Küche").

The original meaning of the word Stuttgart could be translated to something like "horse garden". Nowadays, the horses were replaced by automobiles, but the name didn't change. Obviously.
