records they released. Became very big when grunge
broke, then became very broke. Sold Nirvana to David Geffen
, became not so broke.
Continues to be a worthy label with many fine bands, even if their sales aren't quite what they used to be. Re-started the legendary Sub Pop Singles Club in 1998.
