Sunshine Village is a ski resort just outside of Banff, Alberta, Canada. The resort boasts 3,358 acres of skiable terrain and a vertical gain of 3,514 feet.

An 8 passenger gondola will bring you from the parking lot up to the village, which contains various food establishments, a day lodge, a rental shop, and the Sunshine Inn.

Sunshine has 9 chair lifts spread over the 3 main peaks, Mount Standish, Lookout Mountain, and Goat's Eye Mountain, that make up the terrain of the resort.

Lift tickets are $62 (plus GST), which is average for Rocky Mountain ski resorts in Canada.

A long-standing claim to fame of Sunshine's is that they don't own any snow-making equipment and rely strictly on the voluminous snowfall that they receive every winter.
