Suria
KLCC is the HUGE modern shopping centre located beneath the
Petronas Towers in
Kuala Lumpur,
Malaysia.
If you've got only a day or less to spend in KL, and are in a shopping mood, I can certainly recommend visiting the KL Central Market followed by a visit to KLCC Suria. The juxtaposition of the quiet, cosy central market with the glass and steel modernity of Suria KLCC will tell you all you need to know about KL in a few short hours.
Make sure you check out the "Aseana" area of Suria KLCC, on the ground floor. There you can find the finest examples of furniture and decorative art of the region (with accompanying huge price tags). There is also a nice cafe there (hard to find in KL!).
Suria KLCC also houses Petrosains, a science gallery. Don't go there unless you have at least a half day to spend - it, like Suria is HUGE.
