MIT's Magazine of Innovation. Published in Cambridge, MA, this magazine focuses on cutting edge science and technology, and is written to be read by engineers and scientists (Note that many similar publications are written to be read by those in the same field as the subject matter - TR is meant to be read by engineers in other fields).

It also serves as the alumni/ae publication for MIT.

Online presence: http://www.technologyreview.com/
First electronically published in 1994, their website originally resided at http://web.mit.edu/techreview/, and was first created by the company net.Genesis, and then maintained internally.

I subscribed to TR for a year, to find out that it was essentially an MIT self-promoting journal, not really a review. When touching non-MIT technology, it still stayed well within the realm of the US research teams. Someone reading TR and nothing else will be absolutely impressed by the domination of MIT and US technology development. Interesting but too egocentric.
