Terry Nation, best know for coming up with the Daleks of Doctor Who, was a screenwriter for a number of American and British TV shows. The programs he wrote for included The Avengers, The Saint, Doctor Who, The Survivors, Blake's 7, and MacGyver. He was also the creator of (along with being a writer for) The Survivors and Blake's 7.
