One of my favorite burgers that I can obtain at the excellent Hughes Dining eatery in Cornell University.

Get a hamburger bun and toast it on the cool part of the grill. Get a nice, thick, juicy beef patty, put a piece of American cheese on top, and heat it. Provolone also works. Two strips of bacon follows, then smother it with BBQ sauce. Add lettuce only, for tomatoes would alter the Texan taste. Serve with fries. A large coke is advised, because it is hot and spicy.

You can also substitute the BBQ sauce with buffalo sauce, it results in a hotter version of the already spicy burger. All in all, an excellent meal.

Texas Burger is also a hamburger chain in Texas. Their regular burger has a patty about the size of all the meat in two Big Macs. Unlike the Big Mac they taste good. Their large drink is about a quart and you get to keep the cup, free refills included. Not many of them around though, none in Austin that I know of. But I still won't go to Miki D's.
