By Ian Stewart and Jack Cohen, one of whom is a physicist and one a biologist. Probably one of the best physics books since The Dancing Wu-Li Masters, and possibly the best theoretical physics dance with Chaos I've ever read. Easy as fuck to read (I can't do math, so you know I'm not lying), and about twenty years ahead of its time when it was written about five years ago. There's a sequel now, too; another excellent mindfuck called Figments of Reality.
