In Greek mythology, the three Graces were: Aglaia (splendor), Euphrosyne (mirth), and Thalia (good cheer). They were lesser goddesses and the daughters of Zeus and Eurynome, a daughter of the Titan god Ocean. Usually, the Graces were regarded as an inseperable incarnation of beauty and grace.

The Graces entertained the gods with their enchanting dancing to Apollo's lyre. Every banquet needed them along with the Muses in order for it to go smoothly. With the Muses, they were known as the "Queens of Song".
