A
sequel to
The Lion King, released
direct-to-video by
Disney in 1997. It
details the story of
Simba and his
pride, and the conflict they had with a pride led by one of
Scar's followers, Zira.
For a direct to video release, I thought it was pretty good; when compared to the original, though, it's rather mediocre. The recent DVD release of it looks quite good, quality-wise; it is one of the best animation DVD transfers I had seen up to that point.
