A festival of lumberjack heritage in Downtown Stillwater, Minnesota. A traveling lumberjack show does a performance as part of the event, climbing, chopping and log-rolling, while various local vendors hawk their wares and the local businesses hire twice as many employees to handle the large crowds of people antiquing and listening to music. The website is www.lumberjackdays.com.

Incidentally, Stillwater is considered The birthplace of Minnesota, and the town was started with several lumber mills on the St. Croix River, which is why we have an annual event called lumberjack days.
