Also known as "On the Ning Nang Nong."

A fine example of nonsense verse from the late, great Mister Spike Milligan (1918-2002). On the Ning Nang Nong should be read aloud to an audience whilst you are wearing a plastic cup attached to an elastic band around your head as a form of prosthetic snout. (This is the way I saw him perform it at least.)It is imperative that you read it in a high pitched, nasal voice, leaving pauses of about a second every three or four words.

It was included in The Nation's Favourite Comic Poems. This is typically British Humour, displaying every Englishman's natural talent for being incredibly silly ... Basically, it is an exploration of a strange land known as the Ning Nang Nong, and the distinctive calls of its indigenous flora, fauna, and miscellaneous items.

I hope to obtain permission to use the poem here, but untill then you shall have to go find it yourselves. It should be found in every book of Classic comic verse ever published in the last fifty years, along with two other poems by Spike, Father Thames and Bump! so this shouldn't be too difficult.
