The Oblongs is an animated comedy, with thirteen episodes that originally aired from April 1 2001 to October 20 2002. So far as I know, there are no plans to make more episodes. The WB showed the original nine episodes, after which they cancelled the show. The show currently airs in the US on the Cartoon Network's "Adult Swim" lineup, and in Canada on Teletoon's "Teletoon Unleashed" lineup.
The Oblongs takes place in Hill Valley (pharmaceutical capital of the world), a town that is divided into two parts - the Hill, and the Valley. While the Hill is an affluent suburban neighbourhood, the Valley is a low-income neigbourhood. At some point in the past, the people from the Hill spilled chemicals into the Valley, causing strange mutations in everyone living there.
