"Capitalism is the most barbaric of all religions"

A Bristol post-punk band. An über Gang of Four -- more explicitly political, more funk-based, more hard-edged and dissonant. Where the Gang used satire ("I Love a Man in Uniform", "To Hell with Poverty", etc.), the Pop Group (self-)righteously snarled "We Are All Prostitutes". They split three ways: ranter Mark Stewart would explore the dub side in his solo ventures. Simon Underwood's Pigbag had a UK hitlet: the JB-lite "Papa's Got a Brand New Pigbag". Then there was Rip, Rig, and Panic.
