This is a classic example of one of the many famous intros given to Top Gear's tame racing driver, the Stig. While his identity remains a mystery to this day, he is credited as being one of the presenters of the British car show Top Gear. Many believe him to be a Formula 1 race car driver as he has tremendous driving ability, but there is no conclusive proof as to which one he is. The Stig plays an important role in Top Gear. He/She/It is the one who sets the lap times for the sports cars that Top Gear tests. While he may not participate in all of the challenges that make Top Gear such a fantastic series, he is important to the series nonetheless, and would be sorely missed if he was ever to depart.
