Bumblebee's Last Stand!

The Decepticons led by Shockwave execute a plan to capture the weakest Autobot, Bumblebee. The plan is to modify him to be under Decepticon control in order to spy on the Autobots. Bumblebee survives their initial attack and hides on the yard of a car dealership. The following night two small-time thugs enter the lot with the intent to steal a car for some joyriding...

"Humans are so lucky. They're weak, they always need each other to get along. I wish I was a human. Then maybe someone would need me." - Bumblebee

Notes:

  • Eliot Brown is credited for the design and art on the splash page, featuring a 3D wireframe of Bumblebee.
  • This story breaks the continuity a bit, with no sign of Megatron who returned the Decepticon ranks in the previous issue. Different writer and artist were also used. In my personal opinion Nolan and Morgan are inferior to Don Perlin and his regular inkers.
