Things in Herds are a band from
Brighton, UK. When I say a band, it's really one person called Pete, who writes, sings and performs the tracks. Live, he is helped by
Miss Ping and some other band members.
Miss Ping also does the
artwork, which includes
projections at live gigs.
In terms of style, lo-fi indie is fairly close, but of course like with all good bands, a bit restrictive. Think Nick Drake, Sparklehorse, Smog, Grandaddy. Obviously the best bet would bet to listen yourself - they have loads of legitimate mp3s available on the web, and their second album has just been released on Trust Me Records. It is the wonderfully titled "I can dancing and walking". Their debut album "Pardon?" is available on the web if you look around.
