This warning, blasted over radio airwaves at volumes that would wake up small dogs in a 100 mile radius, was created during the 50s to prepare Americans for nuclear disaster. Also created during the same time: Duck and Cover the drill that taught small children that hiding under desks would save you from a nuclear bomb. The instructonal movies that accompany this policy are not to be missed.

Also, because of recent problems, I am testing this system. I am becoming testy, as well.
