Author, scriptwriter, photographer and radio actor. Author of Green Grass, Running Water, Good Story, That One and creator of the Dead Dog Cafe Comedy Hour on CBC Radio One. He is of Greek and Cherokee descent, and much of his writing features Indian characters. (I use that word, because he uses that word.) He is an associate professor of English at the University of Guelph.
