Song by Rolf Harris (I don't know if this was the original, though).

(Spoken) There's an old stockman, lying, dying. He props himself up on one elbow, turns to his mates, who are gathered round, and says:

Watch me wallaby's feed, mate
Watch me wallaby's feed.
They're a dangerous breed, mate,
So watch me wallaby's feed.

Tie me kangaroo down, sport,
Tie me kangaroo down.
Tie me kangaroo down, sport,
Tie me kangaroo down.

Keep me cockatoo cool, Curl,
Keep me cockatoo cool.
Don't go acting the fool, Curl,
Just keep me cockatoo cool.

(refrain)

Take me koala back, Jack,
Take me koala back.
He lives somewhere out on the track, Mac,
so take me koals back

(refrain)

Mind me platypus duck, Bill,
Mind me platypus duck.
Don't let him go running amuck, Bill,
Mind me platypus duck.

(refrain)

Play your didgeridoo, Blue,
Play you didgeridoo.
Keep playing 'til I shoot through, Blue,
Play your didgeridoo.

(refrain)

Tan me hide when I'm dead, Fred.
Tan me hide when I'm dead.
So we tanned his hide when he died, Clyde
And that's it hanging in the shed!

(refrain)

I actually have an old 45 of this (remember, with the big holes in the middle??}. Yes, it was Rolf Harris. Interestingly, his website leaves out a verse that was on the original 45:

Let me abos go loose, Bruce
Let me abos go loose
They're of no further use, Bruce,
So let me abos go loose.

Gee, I can't imagine why this isn't still part of the canon! I remember it not because of its content, but because I married a guy named Bruce. (I let him go loose)

I remember this song as being from the late 50's, about the same time as "One-Eyed, One-Horned, Flying Purple People Eater". Nostalgia for the '50s always amazes me: the martinis, the kidney shaped tables, the drive-ins with car hops on roller skates, the unabashed racism.
