Christian entertainment. The Christian community felt they were condemning Hollywood, but provided no alternative.

Gary Busey,
Howie Mandell, and
Margot Kidder. It is about a cop who is a "non-believer", who wakes up during the Tribulation. It has major special effects, and looks like a "normal film".
I think this is a great idea. I heard about it while watching some local programming. They had an informercial for it. What I didn't like was they had all these people reviewing it. They felt it was a good thing to show "the ones who weren't saved" to show them "the way". This is another example of people who can't seperate reality from entertainment. I am sure this is a fine film, and I even am considering buying it, to see.
I don't think this, or anything else should be used to SCARE people into religion. I guess my opinions using religion as a threat should be saved for another node.
