A character in The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis. Trumpkin is a Red Dwarf who assisted King Caspian in his fight to overthrow his cruel uncle King Miraz. He met Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy Pevensie at the ruins of Cair Paravel when they returned to Narnia after a thousand-year absence, and fought in the second Battle of Beruna. He was cheerfully agnostic toward the idea of Aslan, Narnia's Lord, until he met him mane-to-face.

Caspian left Trumpkin on the throne as Regent when he sailed to the World's End on the Dawn Treader. Many years later he did so again, as the aged king searched for Aslan and word of his missing son Rilian. By that time Trumpkin was crotchety, near-deaf, and inflexible. Although Aslan himself sent Eustace Scrubb and Jill Pole to rescue Rilian, if Trumpkin had gotten wind of it he would have followed Caspian's orders and imprisoned them for their own safety.
