University of Connecticut Transportation Services is located at 3 N. Hillside Rd. in Storrs, CT. These are the people who run the ubiquitious campus shuttles and the AVS vans for those with handicaps and disabilities. The fleet of buses consists of three 30' and nine 35' Gillig Phantom model transportation busses, four Freightliner school buses, and one Thomas 30' bus. All of the drivers are well trained students with CDLs and countless licence endorcements (Read: They go through a lot to drive you from Aronja to Towers on those rainy days). Transportation also rents out vehicles to clubs and organizations as well as two coach buses painted with UConn designs. Just remember the drivers are students just like you and they are people too.
